Colima 71 Casa de Arte Hotel

This is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at. It is finely curated with eccentric art. The location in Roma Norte is 10/10, we had so much fun strolling down Colle de Colima and shopping around. The breakfast is amazing and delicious, the coffee delectable. We stayed on the top floor and loved the stunning light, the size of the rooms, and the amenities available. The staff was amazing -- particularly Martin, whose creativity comes through so much in the breakfast preparation. He is a kind soul and made us feel like it was our home away from home. I will definitely be back!

Had a phenomenal stay at Colima 71. The building is a pristine artistic delight, the service is personal and warm, and the rooms are absolutely stunning. It’s also centrally located to many amazing restaurants and shops. Couldn’t have picked a better hotel for our first time visiting Mexico City. Excited to return again for future trips exploring this beautiful city.

Everything was fantastic. This place is a real gem. I stayed here in two connecting rooms with my two adult daughters and had a wonderful time. The service was outstanding - especially Martin at breakfast! The architecture, art, finishes etc are next level! Outstanding. And Roma Norte is the area you want to be in! There’s a reason Colima 71 has been awarded two Michelin keys for the two years they have been open!

The attention to detail throughout the property is exceptional. Hospitality and service are clearly at the core of the experience. The team’s genuine care for both the hotel and every guest is evident in every interaction — attentive without being intrusive, polished yet personal. Colima 71 is one of those rare, under-the-radar gems that feels like a private discovery — the kind of place you almost want to keep to yourself.

From the moment we arrive, the staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our stay exceptional. Their professionalism is seamless, and they anticipate every need with care. Breakfast is always a highlight — the freshest Rosetta pastries, delicious tamales from Oaxaca, and truly wonderful coffee you want to savor slowly. The quality and sourcing are outstanding. We especially love the thoughtful touches: little treats left in the room with handwritten notes that make the experience feel personal and memorable. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between stylish and welcoming. It’s rare to find a place that feels this consistent — we will absolutely be back again.

Excellent location in Roma Notre. Next to lots of shops and food. The room remains quiet even during the busier times of day. The staff at the hotel are very attentive and quick to help with any concerns. Would recommend to anyone looking to get a little extra out of your hotel stay! Looking forward to staying with them again.

Colima 71 is a beautifully designed hotel. The rooms are very large with high ceilings, comfortable furniture, tons of storage large and a nicely equipped bathroom. The public spaces on the ground floor are beautiful, comfortable and full of interesting decorative arts. The breakfast is excellent. The staff is super friendly, attentive and helpful. In summary, this hotel gets our highest recommendation!

It is very rare that coming back to your hotel feels like coming back home, but that’s exactly what it felt like at Colima 71. From the most welcoming and accommodating staff, through the perfect location, and all the way to the spacious and sparkly clean room, this is an awesome place to end the day at and start a new one in. Breakfast is right on point, not exaggerated and very satisfying, the beds are comfy, the room is well appointed, and all of it is right there at the very heart of Roma Norte so there are probably a 1,000 restaurants and coffee shops in easy walking distance. We were there for a long weekend and we will be back!
